How should I care for my new pieces?
Goldfinch uses a number of different materials in our pieces. Before shipping, we always clean and polish all of your newly purchased goodies. However, you should always care for your jewelry properly to maintain its appearance. For polymer clay pieces, we recommend that they are stored away from other pieces to prevent scratching. As far as metal pieces go, simply take out a clean, soft cloth and carefully polish away any dullness. If your pieces are adorned with any beads, precious stones, or freshwater pearls do not scrub hard and do not submerge in water. What are my earrings made out of?
All pieces are carefully designed and manufactured completely by hand from start to finish. We use high quality polymer clay, metal, semi-precious stones, and other natural adornments in our products. All posts are either stainless steel or titanium and totally hypoallergenic. All clasps are free of toxic metals. No nickel, no lead, no green ears; just really cute products!
Do you offer returns?
The short answer is no. For a more detailed answer, stick with me. All Goldfinch sales are final and we do not offer returns or refunds. Why is this? Goldfinch is a one-woman show and a lot of care and effort goes into each of our products, from overall design to color to shape to pattern. As with an purchase you make in life, you should carefully consider your selection. Now, with that being said, we do offer refunds or returns IF the product is defective or damaged due to craftsmanship. We will assess each case individually, and we reserve the right to reject any refund/return. Please contact us using our Contact Us form to begin this process. If we fail to provide you with durable pieces, please ensure that each return request is sent within 14 days of receiving the item and ensure that the product is in its original packaging. Failure to do so will result in rejection of refund.
Do you ever offer discounts or sales?

Where do you source your materials?
That’s a really great question. Sustainability is important, and that’s why slow-made, handcrafted ANYTHING is better than buying from a big store. Whether it’s home decor, clothes, jewelry, or anything else, slow made will always stand up to mass produced items. We either craft pieces ourselves or purchase supplies from other small owned businesses: clay cutters, semi-precious stones, glass beads, etc.
What is your shipping policy?
We ship packages out Monday thru Friday with USPS and provide you with a tracking number for your delivery. Please allow 1-3 days for packaging and up to two weeks for your goodies to arrive. Typically orders arrive well within that timeframe. For example, if you place an order Saturday/Sunday we will fulfill your order but will drop it off on Monday.
